Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Horticulture Trainer to deliver our specialized Horticulture School program to our operations team. This program encompasses essential industry topics, including:

Plant naming conventions

Sizing standards
-
Packaging methods
-
Plant forms and categories
-
Quality grading
-
Shipping procedures
The trainer will guide new team members through the curriculum, reinforcing key concepts, administering prepared assessments, and supporting hands-on learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver structured training sessions in an engaging and practical manner

Facilitate discussions and hands-on activities to reinforce learning

Administer and evaluate prepared exams to assess trainee comprehension

Provide mentorship and support to trainees throughout the program
Qualifications:

Background in horticulture or green industry experience

Passion for teaching and mentoring new team members

Ability to deliver structured training confidently and engagingly

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Must be available to work part-time during standard business hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) to align with our employees' schedules.
The role entails approximately 40–50 hours of training over a 2–3 week period, with an estimated commitment of 8–9 sessions annually.
